About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Waiter / Waitress to join our team at Bottles, an Italian restaurant and wine bar located in the heart of Spitalfields, London. This Waiter / Waitress remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment, serving seasonal Italian cuisine and a carefully curated selection of organic and biodynamic wines. As a Waiter / Waitress, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our customers enjoy their time at our restaurant.

What You'll Do

• Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring a high level of service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and follow daily cleaning routines.
• Engage with guests to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Assist in wine tastings and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Participate in in-house training sessions and wine tastings to enhance your knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines.
• Work closely with a close-knit team to create a supportive and enjoyable work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Confidence in delivering great guest experiences and a friendly attitude.
• Knowledge of Italian food and wine is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK without restrictions.

Nice to Have

• WSET certification or interest in wine.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems.
