Voice-Over Artist for YouTube Channel - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Voice-Over Artist to join our team at Electrify Video Partners. This remote position allows you to contribute to our engaging YouTube channel, known for its beautifully crafted video essays and documentaries. As a Voice-Over Artist, you will help bring our stories to life, delivering narration with depth, clarity, and emotional insight. Your unique voice will resonate with our audience, making complex topics accessible and engaging.

What You'll Do

• Record voice-over for scripted video essays, initially working on 1-2 videos per month with potential for more.
• Bring a consistent tone and personality to the channel’s voice, helping shape its long-term sound identity.
• Collaborate with producers to ensure the narration enhances the pacing, tone, and clarity of each story.
• Deliver clean finished audio tracks, ensuring high-quality sound for our viewers.
• Identify clunky lines or factual issues in scripts, providing constructive feedback to improve content.

Requirements

• Fluent English speaker with a unique and memorable voice, preferably with a Nordic accent.
• Ability to deliver narration that feels natural, raw, and emotionally in tune, avoiding overly theatrical or stiff tones.
• A genuine interest in topics such as politics, society, history, and culture.
• Comfort reading long-form, essay-style scripts with clarity and subtlety.
• Willingness to commit to a regular schedule of approximately 60–90 minutes of VO recording per video.

Nice to Have

• Experience in journalism or a related field is a plus.
• Previous work as a voice-over artist or in audio production.
• Familiarity with audio editing software.
