UX/​UI Designer - LegalTech Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer remote to join our innovative team at LEAP Legal Software. As the first dedicated designer in our Family Law division, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our well-established product suite while introducing fresh ideas to a complex and evolving space.

What You'll Do

• Design end-to-end user experiences and interfaces that balance user needs with business goals.
• Translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to simplify complex workflows and systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible and impactful.
• Conduct or support user research, user testing, and feedback sessions to refine designs.
• Work within and contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency across the product.
• Participate in design critiques and workshops, sharing feedback and collaborating with peers.
• Take ownership of user experience and product features, from discovery through to delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of digital product work.
• Ability to design clear, effective user flows and interfaces.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX fundamentals, accessibility, and usability principles.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma) and familiarity with prototyping.
• Experience designing for enterprise software or complex digital systems is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in legal tech or similar industries.
• Knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
