UX Designer II - Remote Opportunity

As a UX Designer II, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences for our cutting-edge pay-at-the-table solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional designs.

What You'll Do

• Conceptualize and create UX/UI designs for various platforms including tabletop devices, handheld tablets, web browsers, and mobile apps, utilizing AI-assisted tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Engage in user research, persona development, journey mapping, and usability testing, leveraging AI-supported research tools to accelerate insights.
• Design visually compelling interface layouts that align with product and partner brand aesthetics, primarily using Figma and other design tools.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction patterns informed by user-centric design principles, incorporating AI tools for rapid iteration.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative research to inform experience design, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
• Communicate research insights and design concepts effectively to cross-functional teams including Product, QA, Engineering, Sales, and Support.
• Attend customer meetings to gather requirements and conduct competitive research, using AI-powered analysis tools for preparation.
• Stay updated on modern design aesthetics and emerging AI capabilities within the design workflow.

Requirements

• A strong online portfolio showcasing your UX/UI process, ideation, and outcomes, with examples of AI integration being a plus.
• 3-5 years of dedicated UX experience in web, mobile, or related environments.
• Solid background in designing consumer-facing applications across mobile, tablet, or desktop.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and hands-on experience with user-centered design.
• Ability to independently manage portions of the design process, utilizing AI tools where appropriate.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and the ability to apply them effectively.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools, especially those with AI-supported functionality.

Nice to Have

• Experience with building robust, reusable components and design systems.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline such as Interaction Design, HCI, or Graphic Design.
