Technical Support Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Farfetch. This remote Technical Support Specialist position offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional service and support to our users. You will be the first point of contact for users who call our IT Support, ensuring that they receive the highest level of customer service.
What You'll Do
- Provide top-notch service and customer support to users.
- Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Track all issues in our task system to ensure timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot end-user issues on various software applications, hardware, network, and telecommunications systems.
- Contact vendors for support on printers and telecom providers.
- Configure and maintain basic server settings.
- Escalate to 3rd level support on unfamiliar server-related problems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of IT support experience.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with practical awareness of workstation maintenance.
- Experienced with network domains, DNS, DHCP, and File Server.
- Proficient in managing Windows services, deploying software, and installing drivers.
- Knowledge of Active Directory management.
- Familiarity with security information and troubleshooting anti-virus and firewall issues.
- Strong interpersonal communication and team-based skills.

- Experience negotiating deadlines and managing client expectations.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to speak and understand English fluently.
