Technical Recruiter - AI Engineering Team

About the Role

We're hiring a Technical Recruiter to join our growing team at Wordsmith, an innovative AI company based in Edinburgh. As a Technical Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering team by sourcing and hiring top talent in the AI field. This Technical Recruiter remote position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our engineering leaders and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI solutions.

What You'll Do

• Own technical hiring across our engineering organization, focusing on roles such as Product Engineers, Applied AI/LLM Engineers, and Platform and Infrastructure roles.
• Build strong pipelines by proactively identifying and engaging engineers across Scotland, the UK, and Europe.
• Partner with engineering leaders, including our CTO, to define roles and refine interview processes.
• Manage the entire hiring process from role kick-offs to offer negotiations, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Improve our hiring playbooks, interview scorecards, and recruiting infrastructure as the engineering team grows.

Requirements

• Experience recruiting software engineers in fast-growing technology companies.
• Strong sourcing ability and comfort approaching passive candidates.
• Ability to partner closely with technical stakeholders.
• High ownership and pace in a startup environment.
• Strong judgment on talent and culture fit.
