Support Specialist (Temporary) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Support Specialist (Temporary) to join our dynamic team at Aladdin Schools. This remote Support Specialist role offers you the chance to make a significant impact in the education sector while working with a dedicated team. Aladdin supports over 500,000 primary school children’s learning every day, and as a Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible support.

What You'll Do

• Provide efficient and friendly support to Aladdin customers, including principals, secretaries, and teachers in Irish schools, via calls and emails.
• Help customers resolve issues and ensure they are utilizing Aladdin’s system effectively.
• Record all support calls and customer interactions in our CRM system.
• Escalate customer issues to the development team when necessary.
• Communicate information clearly and concisely, sharing appropriate details using effective communication methods.

Requirements

• A relevant third-level degree and at least one year of relevant industry or postgraduate experience.
• Experience in a support desk role.
• Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the education industry.
• Familiarity with software development processes (Business Analysis, Development, Quality Control).
