About the Role

We are seeking a talented Sub-Director of Digital Services to join our team at Banorte. This remote opportunity allows you to lead the transformation and innovation in the financial sector, making a significant impact on our digital services.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and direct the Digital Services team, defining the framework, governance, and best practices for the adoption, development, and operation of low-code and no-code tools.
  • Align digital initiatives with the strategic objectives of the organization, promoting collaboration across departments.
  • Effectively manage the project portfolio and utilize technological platforms that generate business value.
  • Supervise and guide work teams, fostering collaboration and agility, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Mentor team members to develop their skills, promoting best practices and high collective performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that technological processes adhere to established policies and standards.
  • Research industry trends to incorporate best practices in digital transformation and keep the bank at the forefront.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, norms, and principles, including guidelines for equal opportunities, ethics, and non-discrimination.

Requirements

  • Professional degree in Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (degree required).
  • Desirable: Postgraduate degree (Master's) in Information Technology, Project Management, or MBA.
  • Over 5 years of experience in technology areas, with a proven track record in IT project management, team coordination, and leadership of digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in digital transformation, technology project management (PMO), implementation of collaborative solutions, and process improvement.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional (waterfall), as well as in matrix or innovation cell work environments.
  • Required knowledge: proficiency in low-code or no-code tools (Microsoft or Google).
  • Solid knowledge in project portfolio management and use of tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, MS Project, or others).
  • Languages: Native Spanish, intermediate English.

  • Certifications in project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools.
