About the Role

We are seeking a Strategy & Development Leader - Crime Lab Design to join our team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will support business development efforts for both HED's Science & Technology sector and our internationally recognized Crime Lab Design practice. Your expertise will help advance firmwide growth initiatives while fostering relationships across these two aligned yet distinct practice groups.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct business development efforts and lead high-value pursuits in coordination with the Science & Technology and Crime Lab Design sector teams.
  • Identify prospects, perform market research, and contribute to pursuit strategy and proposal development.
  • Drive revenue growth by fostering strong client and industry relationships.
  • Manage and expand key client accounts, serving as the initial point of contact.
  • Refine market strategy, sector analysis, and competitive intelligence on behalf of sector leaders.
  • Mentor technical professionals and sector leaders in the business development process.
  • Develop strategies for Target Account Planning and manage the Client Intimacy program.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and sales pitches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Marketing, Business, or Communications, or 5-10 years of equivalent sales experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills.
  • Strong leadership and client management skills.
  • Advanced insight into market and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to make data-driven sales decisions utilizing KPIs.
  • Networking and relationship-building ability.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the forensic science or design sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales tools.
  • Ability to represent HED and CLD at professional conferences.
