Strategic Account Executive (DACH) - Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a talented Strategic Account Executive (DACH) remote to join our innovative team at XBOW. As a leader in cybersecurity, we are redefining how security is approached through our autonomous pentester powered by AI. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our executive leadership to shape our sales strategy and refine our approach to meet the needs of our clients.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
- Work closely with your team, founders, and product to refine positioning and surface customer insights.
- Help define and build repeatable outbound and inbound sales motions.
- Engage technical stakeholders (engineering, platform, security, compliance) with empathy and credibility.
- Manage your sales pipeline with a focus on velocity, value, and clarity.
- Partner cross-functionally to shape pricing, go-to-market strategy, and enhance the customer experience.
- Focus on DACH markets while also engaging with EMEA accounts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of proven SaaS sales experience, particularly in Security or Application Security.
- Demonstrable experience selling into enterprise customers.
- Native German speaker with professional fluency in English.
- Ability to thrive in early-stage environments where ambiguity is common.
- Strong communication skills with technical buyers.
- Experience in creating demand and storytelling in new markets.
- Ownership mindset and a bias for action.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to Financial Services or regulated industries.
- Prior experience selling into engineering, DevOps, or security teams.
- Familiarity with compliance or risk-adjacent workflows (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Experience as a founding or early sales hire.
