About the Role

GitLab is hiring a full-time Staff Product Designer specializing in Knowledge Graph to join our innovative team. This Staff Product Designer remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home in the USA, Canada, or Europe. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products, focusing on enhancing the knowledge graph capabilities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design process for our Knowledge Graph features, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to define and implement innovative solutions.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve product usability.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in designing complex systems, particularly knowledge graphs or similar data-driven products.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
