We are seeking a Staff Build Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at RapidFort. What You'll Do

  • Design and implement build systems that support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automation using Python, Bash, and other scripting languages.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize build processes and reduce build times.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior engineers in build and infrastructure best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Build Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and full-stack development practices.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Typescript and React for web applications.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and building scalable applications.
  • Previous experience in technical leadership roles.
