Staff Accountant - Full Cycle Accounting (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Accountant - Full Cycle Accounting to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

What You'll Do

• Manage various month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Perform accounting for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with the fiscal year audit.
• Document accounting processes and maintain compliance with company policies.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash applications.
• Assist with accounts payable functions as needed.
• Serve as backup for administration of Concur Expense and Request modules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant major/minor.
• Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with an Accounting ERP System, such as Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
