About the Role

We are seeking a talented Special Projects Manager to join our team remotely. In this role, you will oversee and manage various special projects within the renewable energy sector, particularly focusing on solar photovoltaic initiatives. As a Special Projects Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving project success and ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage special projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Utilize your technical expertise in solar photovoltaic systems to guide project development and implementation.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support fundraising efforts and contribute to strategic planning within the organization.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems and related technologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial management and budgeting.
• Knowledge of environmental planning and compliance (NEPA, CEQA).
• Previous experience in fundraising or business development.
