Software Test Lead - Remote QA/​QC Role

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Test Lead (QA/QC) to join our dynamic team at KMS Technology. This remote Software Test Lead position offers you the chance to lead a testing team for exciting software development projects while working closely with clients and team members. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products through effective testing strategies and methodologies.

What You'll Do

• Lead the testing team, overseeing all testing activities including estimation, planning, strategy, design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Utilize your knowledge of automation frameworks to maintain and implement automated test cases.
• Collect data and report on testing status, showcasing creativity and initiative to enhance product test coverage.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to communicate findings and coordinate bug resolutions.
• Contribute to QA processes by providing recommendations and actively participating in process improvements.
• Mentor and train team members to elevate the overall quality of testing.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies, particularly Agile.
• Manage testing teams and work effectively with US clients.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on software testing processes.
• Intermediate English proficiency is required.
• Experience in manual testing techniques including black box, risk-based, exploratory, and Non-UI testing.
• Familiarity with automation testing, API testing, and at least one programming language (Java, C#, or Python).
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Postman, Git, and IntelliJ IDEA.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, with a preference for Context Driven Testing.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.

Nice to Have

• Experience in performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and building testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of design patterns.
