About the Role

We are excited to offer a Software Engineer Co-op - Remote position that provides a unique opportunity for engineering students to gain hands-on experience in building scalable applications. In this role, you will work with cloud technologies and Salesforce environments, enhancing your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

What You'll Do

• Gain hands-on experience in building scalable applications using AWS services such as Lambda and Fargate.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs to support application functionality.
• Manage large-scale file storage solutions using Amazon S3.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Focus on learning and skill growth while contributing to meaningful projects.
• Develop Salesforce components using Apex, enhancing your understanding of cloud technologies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for project improvements.
• Work collaboratively with peers to solve problems and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an engineering program.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with AWS services.
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good communication abilities.
• Interest in cloud technologies and software development.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in software development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
