Software Engineer - Blockchain Solutions (Remote)

About the Role

Join Paxos as a Software Engineer specializing in blockchain solutions. In this remote role, you will be instrumental in architecting and maintaining our blockchain infrastructure, ensuring secure and scalable systems that empower our customers.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical issuance systems that support tokenized assets across multiple blockchains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, compliance, and infrastructure to define system architecture and technical requirements.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our issuance services through best practices in software design, testing, and deployment.
• Optimize existing issuance infrastructure to enhance performance, reduce latency, and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in blockchain, distributed systems, and financial technology to drive innovation within the team.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions.
• Strong expertise in building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Track record of writing clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and experience building secure systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex requirements into manageable tasks.
• Experience with workflow engines and state management systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and KYC/AML processes is a plus.
