About the Role

We're hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing team at Sharetec. This full-time remote position offers an exciting opportunity to impact quality in the software development lifecycle. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you'll design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement automated test frameworks to enhance software quality.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to integrate automation early in the development process.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on test automation tools and practices.
• Proactively identify gaps in automation and testing infrastructure.
• Stay current on industry trends and advocate for new tools and technologies.
• Utilize programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript to develop test scripts.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps to streamline testing processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the FinTech industry.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
