Skills Development Technician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Welcome to Cascades! We are looking for a Skills Development Technician to join our team remotely. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your talents and contribute to our mission of sustainability while working with a diverse team of professionals.

What You'll Do

• Gather essential information from employees and various departments.
• Create or update clear and job-specific work instructions.
• Collaborate with supervisors to validate and optimize new instructions.
• Support the deployment and use of training tools.
• Document employee know-how during field meetings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by revising and implementing procedures.
• Participate in standardization projects for internal training.
• Identify missing or outdated training needs.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Relevant DEC or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Interest in personnel management and development.
• Aptitude for clearly communicating needs and conveying information effectively.
• Knowledge of video editing and visual creation is a plus.
• Proven initiative and ability to engage on the ground.
• Fluent in French, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of computer tools, particularly the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to Have

• Experience in training or instructional design.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms.
• Strong organizational skills.
