About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Women's Apparel Designer to join our client's in-house design team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design and development of a women's lifestyle collection, focusing on quality fabrics and thoughtful construction. As a Senior Women's Apparel Designer, you will manage the entire design process from concept through production, collaborating with a small, dedicated design group.

What You'll Do

• Design women's apparel from concept through production, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Develop seasonal direction and innovative design concepts that resonate with our broad customer base.
• Create and maintain comprehensive tech packs and design documentation.
• Participate in fittings and sample reviews to ensure designs meet expectations.
• Collaborate with internal partners throughout the development process to streamline production.
• Research trends, fabrics, and market direction to inform design decisions.
• Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Present your work to internal stakeholders, showcasing your design vision.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in women's apparel design, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in designing both knits and wovens, with a solid understanding of garment construction.
• Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to facilitate collaboration.

• Experience designing lifestyle or contemporary women's apparel.
• Experience working within lean design teams.
