Senior Web Application Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Web Application Developer to join our dynamic team at JPS Tech Solutions. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical web applications for the Behavioral Health Services Division. As a Senior Web Application Developer, you will leverage your extensive experience to enhance and maintain enterprise-level applications.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-level web applications.
• Develop scalable solutions using ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC, and Angular.
• Design and optimize relational database solutions and write complex SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across application layers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support reporting and analytics needs using SSRS and Power BI (preferred).
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and SDLC processes.
• Document application designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in web application development.
• Extensive experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC, and Angular.
• Strong experience with relational databases and advanced SQL development.
• Proven analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and follow through on deliverables.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, testing, and deployment processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SSRS and Power BI.
• Strong background in data analytics tools, databases, and enterprise application development.
• Experience in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems or healthcare environments is a plus.
• Interest in and ability to adapt to new and emerging technologies.
