About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Visual & UI Designer - Remote to join our dynamic team at Numa. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the visual identity of our products and enhance user experiences across various platforms. As a Senior Visual & UI Designer, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces that resonate with our audience.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Create design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement user-centered design solutions.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
  • Utilize tools such as Figma and Photoshop to create high-fidelity prototypes and mockups.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in visual and UI design.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Visual & UI Designer, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final deliverables.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, and other relevant software.
  • Experience in creating design systems and working with responsive design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in motion design and gamification principles.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
