Senior Video Editor & Motion Designer - Remote

About the Role

Vuori is seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor & Motion Designer remote to join our dynamic Video Team. This role demands creativity, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the active, fashion, sport, and documentary spaces is highly preferred.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with the Senior Manager of Motion Content, Creative Director, creative team, and other departments to produce cohesive and engaging branded video content.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance video projects.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and media libraries for easy access and retrieval.
• Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos for various platforms including social media, web, new media, broadcast, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure the final product aligns with Vuori's brand vision and goals.
• Implement feedback from supervisors and leadership to refine and enhance video projects.
• Create motion graphics, visual effects, and compositing elements to enhance video content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Animation, or related field and/or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in Premiere, After Effects, and similar post-production software.
• Extensive experience in the active, fashion, sport, and documentary spaces.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with color grading, sound design, and audio editing.
• Excellent project management experience, including the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of other editing software, color grading, motion graphics, and/or VFX tools.
• Experience with camera operation and cinematography principles with a strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, and pacing.
• Knowledge of current trends in video production and motion graphics.
