About the Role

Workiva is seeking a talented Senior Staff UX Designer - Design System to join our innovative team. This Senior Staff UX Designer remote position offers the opportunity to work from anywhere in the United States while making a significant impact on our design system. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs that enhance our products and improve user experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design of our design system, ensuring consistency and usability across all products.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define user needs and create intuitive user interfaces.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on best practices in UX design.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Experience with design systems and creating components for scalable applications.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in B2B SaaS products.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
