About the Role

MetaMask is hiring a full-time Senior Staff DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. This Senior Staff DevOps Engineer remote position allows you to work from the USA, Canada, or Europe, contributing to the development of cutting-edge blockchain technology.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions to support our growing user base.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment pipelines and improve system reliability.
• Manage cloud resources and optimize performance across multiple environments.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Lead initiatives to improve security practices and compliance within our infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Experience in the blockchain or crypto industry is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
