Junior People Operations Specialist - Remote Role

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior People Operations Specialist to join our team at Box. This remote role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in HR and make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. As a Junior People Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience for all Boxers, providing world-class service and support as we scale our operations in the EMEA region.

What You'll Do

• Manage the end-to-end new hire onboarding process for the EMEA region, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
• Maintain employee data in HR systems, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely support on People-related matters.
• Administer attendance and leave processes, assisting employees with time-off requests.
• Provide administrative support for the EMEA immigration program and assist with compliance tasks.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent and efficient HR processes.
• Assist in People Operations projects aimed at enhancing the employee experience.
• Generate basic HR reports and assist in data analysis as required.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in HR administration or personnel management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate deliverables.
• Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and business challenges.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Polish.
• Familiarity with employment law and practices in Poland is a plus.

• Exposure to Workday or other HRIS systems.
• Comfortable working with Excel and data analysis.
• Interest in critical thinking and process improvement.
