About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Remote to join our dynamic team. As a Senior SDET, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our software quality through automated testing strategies. What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and TypeScript.
  • Design and execute test cases for various applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Utilize tools such as Playwright, Rest-Assured, and Selenium for effective test automation.
  • Perform API testing and microservices validation to ensure system integrity.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in automated testing.
  • Analyze test results and report defects to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and TypeScript for test automation.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit and Cucumber.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation.
  • Experience in UI testing and integration testing methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with React applications and testing strategies.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
