Senior Software Developer - AWS for Healthcare Applications

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer - AWS to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. This role focuses on enhancing healthcare applications and requires a strong background in AWS technologies. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and improving clinical and payer applications, ensuring system stability and security.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain healthcare provider and clinical applications using AWS technologies.
• Handle batch job processing, debugging, and job scheduling effectively.
• Implement software change management processes to ensure smooth transitions.
• Identify and address system vulnerabilities proactively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application functionality.
• Provide weekend on-call support on a rotational basis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer with a focus on AWS.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS, and CodePipeline.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and cloud-based enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Excellent soft skills: proactive, team-oriented, empathetic, and responsible.
• Availability for onsite work and weekend on-call support.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Java and familiarity with the HAWKEYE tool.
• Experience with AS400, DB2, MySQL, and SnapLogic.
• Familiarity with Python or Node.js, JBoss, and IIS Services.
• Experience with Jira and ETL processes.
