About the Role
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Technical Developer to join our team at the University of Melbourne. In this role, you will enhance and maintain our strategic enterprise service management platform, contributing to the transformation of service delivery in a world-class educational environment. As a Senior ServiceNow Technical Developer, you will be pivotal in designing and developing innovative ServiceNow applications, providing platform upgrades, and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver complex solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications, including business rules, client scripts, and workflows to meet complex business requirements.
- Coordinate ServiceNow upgrades, releases, and patches across production and non-production environments, ensuring system integrity and auditability.
- Monitor platform performance, implement preventative maintenance, and lead enhancements to meet high client satisfaction KPIs.
- Work closely with scrum teams and stakeholders across the university to plan, design, and implement complex ServiceNow solutions.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that shape the service experience for thousands of users.
Requirements
- Certified ServiceNow Application Developer with extensive experience in large-scale implementations.
- Deep technical knowledge and a passion for driving innovation in enterprise service management.
- Strong background in enterprise application development, including expertise in JavaScript, AngularJS, and ServiceNow-specific development tools.
- Experience with system integration, web services, and service-oriented architecture.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead multi-functional teams in resolving complex issues.

- Additional ServiceNow certifications.
