Senior QAOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior QAOps Engineer to join our innovative team at QuantumGate. As a Senior QAOps Engineer remote, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our cutting-edge post-quantum cryptographic solutions. Your expertise will help us safeguard enterprise digital environments through robust testing and deployment strategies.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate with DevOps and development teams to validate and test deployments across various environments, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that integrate automated testing and quality gates, enhancing deployment efficiency.
• Conduct validation of deployment processes and execute smoke tests to confirm environment readiness post-deployment.
• Set up and maintain dashboards for build/test status, deployment health, and quality metrics, providing timely reports on deployment test results.
• Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Development teams to identify areas for improvement in the testing and deployment lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software QA, DevOps, or a hybrid QAOps role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and test lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is a plus.
• Proficiency with QA tools like Jira, Xray, or TestRail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing and validation in CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Grafana.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
