Senior QA Engineer - Remote Position at Appricus IT Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our remote team at Appricus IT Solutions. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in India.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and automated testing across web and mobile applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues found during testing and collaborate with developers to resolve them efficiently.
• Use tools like JIRA to ensure that defects are accurately identified, documented, and tracked.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, testing, and release validation.
• Communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients, ensuring timely updates and alignment.
• Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and documentation to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and adapt to new testing methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
• Strong experience in functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing.
• Practical experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or Cucumber.
• Familiarity with REST Assured, Postman, and API testing tools.
• Proficient with JIRA for issue tracking and reporting.
• Basic understanding of SQL and API request/response structures for validation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate with global teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in mobile automation testing for Android, iOS, or cross-platform applications.
• Working knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins.
• Exposure to cloud testing platforms or performance testing tools.
