About the Role

We're hiring a Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team at Embeddable. This Senior QA Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the quality assurance landscape of our innovative developer platform.

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of our test automation suite, maintaining and improving existing frameworks (Playwright + Cucumber).
  • Balance automation with hands-on testing, performing manual tests for new features or edge cases.
  • Help define what “quality” means at Embeddable, contributing to our quality strategy and prioritizing user experience.
  • Support production issue resolution by collaborating with engineering and product teams.
  • Ensure releases are well-tested, observable, and reversible, working closely with engineering and product.
  • Mentor through influence by sharing QA best practices and leading by example in code reviews.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in QA roles, with experience in both automated and manual testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Cucumber and Playwright.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, including test integration.
  • Skilled in API testing and risk-based testing approaches.
  • Comfortable writing SQL queries, especially in PostgreSQL.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance/load testing.
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes-based environments.
  • Basic knowledge of React.
