About the Role
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer specializing in embedded systems to join our dynamic aerospace company. What You'll Do
- Develop testing principles and methodologies for software components.
- Automate testing for control and measurement equipment and components of spacecraft.
- Verify new functionalities and conduct regression testing.
- Manage release activities and oversee the testing strategy for products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building test automation using Python, pytest, and Allure TestOps.
- Experience in manual testing and embedded software testing.
- Ability to create test plans, test cases, and testing reports, with knowledge of test design techniques and requirements tracing.
- Basic understanding of computer networks (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS).
- Willingness to work in laboratory conditions.
- Understanding of GRPC and REST principles.
- Ability to simulate HTTP and GRPC requests using tools like Postman, curl, and wget.
- Experience with key protocols and interfaces for connecting devices to PCs (Ethernet, Modbus, RS232/RS485, USB).
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD systems (GitLab).
- Basic skills in Linux.
