Senior Project Controller - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Controller remote to play a critical role in the successful delivery of major shutdowns. This is a site-based position working a 6/1 roster in a fast-paced, high-intensity project environment. This role is ideal for a commercially astute, analytical leader who thrives on driving performance, influencing decisions through data, and maintaining full control of cost, schedule, and risk outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic oversight of project controls, ensuring accurate forecasting, performance visibility, and proactive risk management.
• Act as a key partner to Project Managers and senior stakeholders, delivering clear insights that drive informed decision-making and successful shutdown execution.
• Utilize strong expertise in project controls, progress measurement, and performance reporting.
• Lead project forecasting (ETC/EAC) in complex project environments.
• Maintain a solid understanding of cost control and earned value principles.
• Interpret and analyze data effectively, presenting insights that influence decisions.
• Communicate confidently to influence decisions through data-driven insights.
• Proficiently use project controls systems and reporting platforms.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Business (Finance or Accounting), Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• 7-10 years of experience in Shutdowns or Infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience with P6 and/or exposure to cost control systems.
• Familiarity with InEight (Doc Control and preferably cost management).

Nice to Have

• Experience in shutdowns preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to tell a story through data.
