Senior Product Designer - Sports Betting

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer - Sports Betting to join our innovative team at Veikkaus. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our sports betting products. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your designs will directly influence user experiences in high-stakes, real-time scenarios.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end design processes for key sports betting features, from initial concept to final delivery.
• Create high-quality user flows, prototypes, and design documentation that enhance user engagement.
• Facilitate design workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product direction with user needs.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality design outputs.
• Balance user needs with business goals, making informed design decisions that drive product success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product or UX design, with a focus on mentoring.
• Strong background in designing complex B2C digital products, particularly in the iGaming or sports betting sectors.
• Expertise in Figma, including advanced component systems and design libraries.
• Proficient in UX architecture, interaction design, and UI design.
• Experience designing for cross-platform products, including mobile and desktop.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time or data-heavy products.
• Background in the international sports betting or iGaming industry.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
