About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer - Remote to join our innovative team at XXIX. As a worker-owned creative collective, we focus on diverse projects that span branding, community engagement, IoT devices, and cross-platform applications. This is a unique opportunity to lead complex product design projects while working with a diverse client roster that includes major names like Google, Stripe, and Mozilla.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design process from discovery through implementation as a Senior Product Designer - Remote.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to enhance project outcomes.
• Manage design workstreams and collaborate effectively with developers to ensure seamless implementation.
• Present design solutions to clients and iterate based on their feedback.
• Work on a variety of client projects across multiple industries, focusing on user experience and visual consistency.
• Maintain flexibility in managing workflow and appreciate a culture of transparency and non-dictatorial leadership.
• Encourage long-standing relationships with team members to foster a supportive work environment.

Requirements

• Expertise in user experience and interface design.
• Experience in product strategy and managing complex design projects.
• Ability to collaborate directly with clients and strong communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable work style, comfortable with remote work dynamics.
• Background or interests in design, art, music, food, or fashion are a plus.
• Willingness to engage in strategic conversations and maintain a high quality of work.

Nice to Have

• Experience in leading teams or mentoring junior designers.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of front-end development principles.
