About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer - New User Experience for Fintech to join our innovative team at WhyHireWrong?. What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end design process for key entry points and conversion journeys for new users in the fintech space.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and content designers to create clear, trustworthy user experiences.
• Run experiments and prototypes quickly, leveraging real user behavior to inform design decisions.
• Explore AI-driven solutions to assist users in understanding fees, timelines, and compliance steps without compromising user control.
• Contribute to the development of design systems and patterns that can scale across a global product.

Requirements

• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in product design, specifically for financial or payments products.
• Strong understanding of fintech concepts such as foreign exchange (FX), transfer fees, and regulatory constraints (KYC/AML).
• Ability to translate complex financial terms into simple, user-friendly language.
• Experience in user-centered design, grounded in data analysis and user research.
• Familiarity with UX metrics such as conversion rates, time-to-complete, and error rates to prioritize design decisions.
