About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join Anchorage Digital in a remote capacity. As a key member of our People Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of our global payroll operations, impacting the financial well-being of our diverse team across critical international markets.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the full lifecycle of international payroll projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely processing.
• Utilize HRIS/payroll systems such as Dayforce or Workday for efficient payroll management.
• Analyze payroll discrepancies and implement solutions to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Legal to align payroll strategies with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance and support to team members regarding payroll processes and compliance issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in international payroll processing, particularly with expertise in Portugal payroll regulations.
• Proven experience managing payroll for international entities, including a solid understanding of local statutory requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex payroll information clearly.

• Relevant payroll certification (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional CPP).
