Senior .NET Core Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior .NET Core Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. As a Senior .NET Core Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and building high-quality web applications and RESTful APIs. This position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop web-based applications using Microsoft ASP.NET MVC (C#) with over 5 years of experience.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs with Microsoft ASP.NET Web API (C#).
• Implement front-end web development using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including AJAX and client-side libraries).
• Utilize .NET Core 2+ and assist in migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
• Demonstrate strong SQL skills and experience with database design and development in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Participate actively in the design and implementation of complex projects with scalability and performance considerations.
• Use version control systems like Git/Github for collaborative development.
• Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing using libraries such as MSTest, NUnit, Selenium, and Moq.
• Experience with container architecture and Docker is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in .NET Core development.
• Proven track record in building scalable web applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Previous experience in the Internet Publishing industry.
