About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft System Administrator to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will support Microsoft infrastructure, including on-premises, virtual, and cloud environments. This position is ideal for those looking to advance their careers while working from anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Do

  • Administer, monitor, and support Microsoft servers, endpoints, and mobile devices.
  • Manage Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Automate tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
  • Ensure availability, performance, and security compliance across all systems.
  • Act as Tier III escalation for complex issues, providing expert-level support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft servers (Windows Server 2016/2019, Hyper-V).
  • 3+ years of experience in Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365 administration.
  • 2+ years of scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft cloud security (Azure/Intune).
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Texas State Agency.
  • Knowledge of endpoint management tools (SCCM/Intune).
  • Familiarity with SQL Server (migrations, tuning).
  • Experience with SAN/storage solutions.
