About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join our team remotely. In this role, you will lead the marketing strategies for K-6 educational technology solutions, driving engagement and sales support. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing student outcomes and empowering educators through innovative marketing initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning, creation, and execution of marketing strategies that align with HMH’s revenue goals for K-6 edtech solutions.
  • Develop and execute solution-based marketing plans biannually.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for ELA K-6 core and supplemental solutions, supporting internal teams and customers.
  • Create compelling customer-facing and internal sales materials that resonate with market needs.
  • Conduct competitive research to strengthen messaging and validate market positioning.
  • Manage the full ELA K-6 product sample strategy, including inventory and supply chain coordination.
  • Collaborate with centralized marketing to support multi-channel campaigns from awareness through renewal.
  • Communicate how HMH ELA solutions align with state and local requirements to improve win rates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Over 3 years of professional experience in marketing, edtech, or sales roles within education or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the elementary literacy market.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and experience building relationships with educators and customers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience with Adobe, Camtasia, Canva, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborative team player who values relationship-building and adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and a passion for education.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce, Smartsheet, Tableau, and Mural.
