Senior Manager Traceability - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager Traceability to join our team at Alexion. This Senior Manager Traceability remote position is critical for overseeing product traceability and serialization within the Alexion AstraZeneca Rare Disease Unit (RDU). You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with market traceability requirements across various regions, including the EU, US, Russia, and China.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development, implementation, and testing of product traceability systems, processes, and standards.
• Oversee daily operational support for all product traceability and serialization activities.
• Manage master data within TraceLink, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Own end-to-end product traceability processes, including alert management and market regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular audits of traceability processes to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Packaging, and Global Supply Chain.
• Represent Alexion in brand launch project meetings, ensuring serialization readiness.
• Define and deploy a serialization strategy aligned with AstraZeneca's broader strategy.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech/manufacturing supply chain environment.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in serialization and/or product traceability.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical packaging processes and supply chain functions.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for serialization and product traceability.

• Experience in project management and executing cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of cGMP and traceability-related regulatory considerations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
