Senior Manager, Technical Operations - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Operations to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely while overseeing the technical operations for our Global Experiences division. As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all technical standards and procedures are met across new projects globally. You will collaborate with creative partners and technical vendors to deliver high-quality show technology experiences that align with our organizational goals.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the central delivery and maintenance of show technology across new Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, ensuring adherence to technical standards.
• Provide technical expertise to project development, ensuring design partners/vendors adhere to WBD Show Technical Standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to select leading show technology and attend industry events to stay ahead of emerging trends.
• Work with local and global IT teams to ensure show systems integrate with WBD IT infrastructure.
• Develop a global media strategy for tours and retail, ensuring secure, cloud-based storage of show content.
• Support internal and external events by ensuring new venues are equipped with technology for discreet control of lighting, audio, and video.
• Establish service level agreements with technical vendors and ensure compliance with safety testing standards.
• Lead a global service provider strategy, ensuring new sites are equipped with top-tier show technology.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in live entertainment, theme park operations, or similar fields.
• Knowledge of filmmaking and studio operations.
• Proficiency in show control and technical software systems.
• Management experience of departments, budgets, and staff.
• Ability to travel worldwide and work across multiple time zones.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Project management qualification or demonstrable experience.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety management.
