About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Development Manager to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will advise our clients on digital transformation initiatives and lead cross-functional teams. As a Senior Java Development Manager, you will be pivotal in shaping the future of our projects and teams.

What You'll Do

• Consult with clients on digitalization and transformation projects.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent for your Java competency team.
• Lead projects utilizing modern 3-tier web architectures with Java and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Oversee microservice architectures using Spring Boot in a high-quality role, such as Scrum Master, Project Manager, Requirements Engineer, or Software Architect.
• Participate in our leadership training program, 'adesso qualified leadership,' to enhance your leadership skills.
• Actively shape our leadership culture and company ethos within leader circles.

Requirements

• A completed degree or training in IT is essential for this diverse role.
• Proficiency in modern Java technologies, particularly Spring Boot, along with experience in web architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, including building and developing teams.
• Knowledge in recruiting engaged employees who align with our projects and values.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English, enabling effective and solution-oriented interactions.
