Remote Underwriter - Property Focus for Commercial Lines

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Underwriter specializing in Property to join our dynamic Underwriting Operations team at Tryg. If you have experience as an underwriter and a keen interest in Property, this is your opportunity to contribute to a strong professional environment and drive development within Tryg Commercial Lines.

What You'll Do

• As a Remote Underwriter, you will be part of a rapidly evolving team dedicated to ensuring profitability and growth for our SME clients.
• Your responsibilities will include issuing quotes and renewals, making changes to existing policies, and communicating effectively with sales and support teams.
• You will collect, analyze, and assess risk information, taking the lead on underwriting cases handled by UW Operations.
• Contribute to enhancing collaboration with other underwriting areas, including the development of Fast Track flows and standardized processes.
• Ensure competitive offerings are delivered to our sales channels within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• A couple of years of experience as an underwriter in the commercial insurance sector, with a specialization in Property.
• Ability to think in solutions and opportunities, driving tasks effectively.
• Understanding of risk parameters that affect customer exposure.
• A keen eye for detail while also being able to see the bigger picture.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build good relationships across teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with underwriting processes and systems.
• Knowledge of the Danish insurance market.
• Familiarity with digital underwriting tools.
