About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Insurance Legal Counsel to join our team at Alan, a pioneering health partner that integrates insurance with smart healthcare delivery. What You'll Do

• Define and implement strategies for regulatory compliance that enhance Alan's competitive edge in the health and disability insurance market.
• Engage directly with key prospects and customers, leveraging your legal expertise to unlock business opportunities.
• Oversee the legal response to major RFPs and represent Alan in complex negotiations, ensuring our interests are protected.
• Maintain product excellence by advising on regulatory requirements and enhancing member experience through optimal product design.
• Lead compliance initiatives across Alan's international markets, ensuring adherence to local regulations while supporting global expansion efforts.
• Develop internal legal frameworks that empower teams to make informed decisions independently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal insights that align with Alan's business objectives.
• Utilize AI technology to streamline legal processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in insurance law or social protection law, preferably at a top law firm or international insurance company.
• Strong background in negotiating complex health and disability insurance deals.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks, including ACPR guidelines.
• Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English.
• Experience in international markets and regulatory authority is a plus.
