Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at Flexe. As a leader in transforming the logistics industry, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are robust, scalable, and efficient. This position allows you to work remotely, enabling you to contribute to our mission from anywhere in the world.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports our logistics platform.
• Collaborate with service engineering teams to optimize performance and reliability of our systems.
• Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to enhance system reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configurations using Terraform.
• Enhance developer experience through self-service tools and optimized CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead incident responses and facilitate post-incident reviews to improve future performance.
• Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices across the team.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, specifically with AWS and GCP services.
• Proven experience using Terraform for cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with containerized applications and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices, particularly using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Certifications in AWS or GCP.
