About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Human Resources Generalist to join Eaton’s GEIS division. This role offers the chance to work remotely while supporting our Roanoke, VA facility. As a Senior Human Resources Generalist remote, you will play a critical role in shaping the HR landscape of our organization.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the HR Manager to develop and implement HR policies and strategies.
  • Lead recruitment and selection processes for both hourly and salaried positions.
  • Provide coaching and development for employees and leadership.
  • Manage employee relations activities, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive practices.
  • Enhance employee retention through effective onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for employee benefits and payroll inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in human resources or labor relations.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports for decision-making.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in Business or Human Resources.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • PHR or SPHR certification.
