Senior Graphic Designer - Creative Events
About the Role
Join our team as a Senior Graphic Designer - remote role, where you will help shape the visual identity of North America's most exciting live events. This position is based in our Toronto office, but offers the flexibility to work remotely as well. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you'll create memorable experiences that fans see, share, and remember across various events including FAN EXPO, VidCon, and Art Toronto.
What You'll Do
- Develop impactful, dynamic deliverables that align with established branding standards.
- Collaborate with creative services and cross-functional teams to generate breakthrough concepts that exceed creative brief requirements.
- Design motion graphics for digital initiatives, including video content, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Create advertisements, event branding, newsletters, social media graphics, sales kits, and web design.
- Utilize advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).
- Prepare files for CMYK output and manage print production processes with precision.
- Facilitate creative development of new projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery.
- Consult with senior stakeholders to provide expert guidance on design, communications, and digital solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).
- Excellent photo editing skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience translating complex concepts into effective marketing pieces.
- BA or BS degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or Communication Arts.
Nice to Have
- Experience in event branding or marketing.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of current design trends and emerging technologies.
