About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Senior Full-Stack Web Developer (Ruby/JavaScript) remote to join our dynamic team at Nimble. In this role, you will tackle challenging projects and contribute to innovative solutions that make a significant impact on our clients' businesses.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure efficient backlog management and assist in technical discussions with clients.
- Write clean, composable, and maintainable code to develop world-class products for our clients.
- Implement automated tests to maintain the quality of the products we build.
- Conduct code reviews with your squad members to uphold coding standards.
- Continuously learn new technologies and languages, such as Ruby and JavaScript, to adapt to evolving client needs.
- Engage in knowledge sharing through team rituals and contribute to defining internal processes that align with our mission.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional web development experience.
- Proficiency in Ruby, JavaScript, or other languages like Go, PHP, or Python.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS, or AngularJS.
- Ability to write automated tests for web applications.
- A strong focus on reusability, maintainability, security, and performance in application development.
- A proactive attitude and a product mindset.
- Confidence in communicating in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).

Who Will Succeed Here
Proficient in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript frameworks (React, VueJS, AngularJS) to build and maintain robust web applications, demonstrating a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development.
Self-motivated and disciplined for remote work, showcasing excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver high-quality code independently while remaining responsive to team collaboration tools like Slack and Jira.
